Every season comes with new mood and colors. You will find the warmth of winter with coziness of autumn in these collections. In Fashion world, every second has something new to tell what fashion is. So, it’s hard to guess out . Well, when it comes to fashion accessories say shoes, special care has to be taken. What is hot and ongoing trend? Talking about Autumn/winter 2009/10 for shoes, is off course different from the previous season. I have seen a change in fashion every season of the year. This season is something very particular about different silhouettes and colors. It is something more pragmatic unlike previous season.

This time simplicity is the best. So, simple silhouette will cool the pressure of tough time generated by recession. But you may find some of the couture styles from designers which are little unpractical.
The colors in this season are swarthy, dark and supernatural. These colors provide elegant look to the accessories. Teal and midnight blue, black and gray, dark green, dark purple and dark reds are the highlights among Autumn Winter 2009/10 colors. Apart from the clothes, these accessories are important to complete the overall look.
Neutrals like beige and gray are the major additions in color canvas. It represents the coziness and other softness in this warm season. Warmth is represented by the color of wine, brown tones and other red shades.
The intricacy has turned into simplicity. This simplicity can be seen in many designers’ shoes and boots collection. Apart from the supernatural colors, the silhouette has taken very natural and common shape. The geometry has been altered a bit. The tip from rounded oval has decreased and square tip-toe has increased to pointed tips.
I have captioned “heel becomes hill”. The stilettos style is almost important as it is common in street style. But it is replacing the major heels in shoe categories. Any heel of shoes regardless of shape and size has gone higher like hills.
Both heel and form have won the Olympics. The tie is about to reach the heights. The boot and heel have taken too much of height. The boot has crossed the height of knee. In this race the heel is not left behind but it has also crossed 6″ of height.

The facade of boot is almost like stockings or some boots are very similar. In most collections from different designers boots are shown with tunic. In such cases, you do not need any lower. This is a good sign for this tough time when whole world is suffering from recession. You can avoid wearing lower when using tunic top. This is normally followed by stockings or leggings. But leggings and sandals can take a form of high heel boots over the knee. This is not only my opinion, but this trend has been shown by many different designers.
The black, gray, brown and red mostly contribute the color palette of above-knee size boots. The boots are made up of leather and suede which can be surfaced with laces and other trims. Zipper is one of the highlights in trims section.
Many boots can be used in office wear collections. But some of them are like bikers ready boots with lacy and zipped structure. These boots are inspired from motor cycle racing theme. You will find the same trend adaptation in uppers like jackets. Jackets are found to be zipped with different zippers and buckles of the autumn winter 2009/10 collections.
